This adventure in creativity will immerse you in painting, poetry and nature while surrounded by the beauty of the Pigeon River Country Forest. The workshop will start with an optional 1 mile hike beginning at 1 pm. Afterwards, artist, Mary Backlund, will share some nature poetry to inspire your painting. Two examples of paintings of trees will be your guide to your own painting on canvas. Paintings will be very freeform. Everyone is an artist, especially using nature as your muse! Families welcome, recommended age 8+. Registration Required.
