Pigeon River Country Association Student Intern Policy
The Pigeon River Country Association will provide support for a student intern in the Pigeon River Country State Forest with the following considerations:
1) To provide experiences that will make students aware of the activities needed to manage and maintain the Pigeon River Country State Forest.
2) To provide assistance to the PRC Unit Manager in planning and/or implementing strategies, using the guidelines in the Concept of Management, that enhance and/or maintain the special wild character of the PRC, and that ensure that the PRC retains the aesthetic, wildlife, recreational and educational values that presently exist.
